Yanomami means “human being”. The Yanomami are located in the Amazon rainforests of Brazil and Venezuela.
The Yanomami are believed to be the most primitive, culturally intact people in the world and the last culture to come into contact with the modern world

It is made with natural fibers with some decoration on the same material naturally died.

Straps would have been traditionally tied around the loops of the top edge, and placed over the forehead to carry the basket on one's back. (No strap included)
